and so it begins...

Well, the wedding season is now upon me. Three cakes this weekend and it was enough to feed 680 people all together. Whew! I made it through a long few days. Here they are...

Jessica & Matt

The reception was at The Perthshire in Perth, NY and the cake fed 308. The biggest one I've done so far.

Crystal & Scott

A cake for The Saratoga Hilton and it was for 172. The top was extra tall to accommodate the unique topper they chose.

Katy & Dave

This one went up to The Lake George Club and had enough cake & cupcakes to feed 200. Flowers by Finishing Touches-they were gorgeous!

Eat Cake (at The Bread Basket)!

The Bread Basket is my family's bakery in Saratoga Springs, NY. I'm lucky to be a part of it and I wouldn't be able to have this business without its support and resources (not to mention space to work). The bakery now has a phenomenal cake decorator (Leah Stewart) on staff who is taking the cake department to a whole new level.

Here are a few of her creations

While I do appreciate the interest in my cakes, I'm afraid I cannot do anything other than wedding cakes now. If you have a need for shower or groom's cakes, please contact the bakery (518.587.4233) for these requests. Leah can make something really fun for your event!

Since I'm at it, I've added a list on the right hand side of this page for completely booked dates of this year. Many other dates are filling fast so check back often.

Graham is 1!

I can't believe my baby is a year old now. We had a big party this past weekend for him and of course I made the cake. Graham shares the birthday with Hilton (grandpa) and Hugh (great-grandpa). Here are a few photos... [you can see pictures from his actual birthday taken by none other than Heather]

yes, I made the hats too.
